On Saturday, Dawn invited me to spend the morning with a chimpanzee. It is not everyday you get that sort of invitation, so, of course, I took her up on it. A lady in Clearwater raises chimps in her home. She has two adolescents and one baby. We only played with the baby, Noah, who is about a year old. Spending time up close with such an interesting animal was a totally new way to spend a Saturday morning.
Noah had lots of energy and was even more playful than you might expect. The little guy was kind enough to give Dawn and I even play time ensuring both of us had a great time.
